THE ROYAL COURT OF PRINCESS THEOPATRA
In African Culture, all festivals and major events are presided over by a Godmother and a Godfather. This is a position of honor and esteem. Their main duty is to officiate over the entire event. The Community Connections Juneteenth Celebration is proud to announce the Godmother for the 2008 term is Princess Theopatra. In true royal style the ladies shown above are part of her Royal Court. You don't have to go all the way to England to see the queen.....we have our own in Alabama.
